Introduction to image processing and analysis
The course is giving an introduction to image processing and analysis methods and algorithms. It includes 8 lectures (90-120 minutes each) and 7 practice sets. The intense version of the course implies 5 days of training – approximately 4 hours for lectures and 4 hours for practice every day.
The full course description can be found here. Look at the box on the left side of this page to download some course materials. The final version of the materials as well as presentations of the course lectures will be available approximately on November 20, 2009.
The next classes will take place in Aalborg University, campus Esbjerg (Niels Bohrs vej, 8) from 23 to 27 of November (week 48). The course schedule can be downloaded here. The additional information (room, guest lecturers, etc) will be available on week 46. If you would like to attend the course (there are several vacancies to be filled), write an email to the course coordinator Sergey Kucheryavskiy (svk@bio.aau.dk).
Professor Paul Geladi from Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences will be visiting ACABS and has kindly agreed to give guest lectures on Multivariate and hyperspectral image analysis. To do this we decided to shift MIA block to the beginning of the course and then continue with classical image analysis.
