Major fields of research: Chemometrics and Multivariate Data Analysis, Theory of Sampling, Acoustic Chemometrics, Process Analytical Technologies. Kim is also external professor at Stellenbosch University, South AFrica and Telemark University College, Norway.

Assistant professor at AAUE. Years of experience in the field of Biogas production – Anaerobic Digestion, Board member of R&D committee of the interministial group of biogas developments 1993-2002, Secretary, board member and chairman of various biogas and bioenergy organisations.

Assistant professor, IT-specialist. PhD in physics (2001). In ACABS from September, 2007. Primary scientific interests are image and signal processing and analysis, multivariate image analysis, recognition of satellite images and many others.
